By purchasing a top quality TechniSat product, you are opting for a first class device that has undergone extensive quality tests and strict outgoing goods controls at every stage of production.

  • Information on the TechniSat guarantee

    Dear Customer,

    Our products are subject to strict quality controls.

    However, should the TechniSat product you have purchased from us fail to function flawlessly, we sincerely apologise and request that you contact your specialist retailer or distribution partner, or our Service Hotline as outlined below.

    In addition to the statutory warranty, we offer a guarantee on all specially marked TechniSat devices on the basis of the following provisions, unless we have expressly excluded certain devices from our warranty promise (e.g. seconds or special items) or have specified separate warranty terms for selected products (e.g. SATMAN digital satellite antennas). Please take note of the following warranty terms applicable for your product.

    Your legal rights are not affected by this.

  • Products with the two-year warranty logo

    As an innovative German quality brand, we regard ourselves as committed to the quality of our products. As such you receive significant guarantee benefits for products of ours with a two-year warranty logo by registering online: By registering your product bearing a two-year warranty logo with TechniSat, you receive the right to claim an additional two-year warranty from the date of purchase in addition to the two-year warranty under law.

    Secure an additional year of warranty

    We like to offer our customers not only excellent service for our products, but also a full all-round service. Part of this is constant communication with our customers. We want you to have the best and most useful information regarding TechniSat products and not miss out on any promotions. If you have consented to the use by TechniSat Digital GmbH of your personal data for advertising and marketing purposes as part of the online product registration of your product with a 2-year warranty logo, the warranty period (device warranty) is extended by a further year. This means a 3-year warranty period from the date of purchase (the date on the receipt being decisive).

    Guarantee tickets

    We always offer our customers the best service. Hence you have the option of extending the warranty period for selected TechniSat TV sets.

    If you have purchased an additional parts warranty (parts warranty ticket) from a specialist retailer, a distribution partner or in the TechniShop and have indicated this during the product registration, you will receive an extended parts warranty following the expiration of the three-year device warranty. Depending on the ticket runtime, this will apply to the following device parts: all electronic components and assemblies, excluding screens and inverter boards, housings and accessories (e.g. external subwoofer and remote control).

    The parts warranty is valid for the following series of TVs:

    • TECHNIMEDIA UHD+ SL
    • TECHNIMEDIA UHD+
    • TECHNIMEDIA UHD SL (Intl. Edition)
    • TECHNIMEDIA UHD (Intl. Edition)
    • TECHNIVISTA SL
    • TECHNILINE PLUS
    • TECHNILINE PRO (SL)

    We recommend that you redeem the warranty ticket you have acquired when you register your product. If you have subsequently purchased a warranty ticket, you can redeem the warranty ticket within one year of purchase (based on the invoice date) following successful product registration.

    The device and parts warranty is valid within the region of the European Union and Switzerland.

    Full TechniSat Digital GmbH warranty terms (for products with a two-year warranty logo)

    • The warranty period (device warranty) at the point of product registration, is two years from the date of purchase (based on the invoice date) from a specialist retailer, distribution partner or in the TechniShop.
      The device and parts warranty is valid within the region of the European Union and Switzerland.

    • If, within the scope of product registration, you have consented to the use of your personal data for the advertising and marketing purposes of TechniSat Digital GmbH, the warranty period (device warranty) will be extended by another year to three years from the date of purchase.

    • If you have purchased an additional parts warranty (parts warranty ticket) from a specialist retailer, a distribution partner or in the TechniShop, and have indicated this during the product registration, you will receive an extended parts warranty following the expiration of the two-year (or extended three-year) device warranty - depending on the ticket runtime - this will apply to the following device parts: all electronic components and assemblies, excluding screens and inverter boards, housings and accessories (e.g. external subwoofer and remote control).

    • During the warranty period, devices that present with defects due to material and manufacturing faults will be repaired or replaced at our discretion. Replaced devices or parts of devices will become our property. The performance of warranty services shall bring about neither the extension of the warranty period, nor the initiation of a new warranty.
      Warranty services include neither compensation for damages nor expenses for data loss occurring within the scope of the repair (e.g. stored lists of channels or hard drive recordings). We request that you perform a data backup prior to sending in a device.

    • Warranty claims must be asserted immediately after becoming aware of the defect within the warranty period.

    • The warranty applies only for the initial purchaser of the device and cannot be transferred to third parties (e.g. by means of private re-sale).

    • The following steps are required if you are to assert a claim under the warranty:
      • (1) You have registered your device with us on our product registration page no later than four weeks after purchase, in order to receive the TechniSat warranty.

      • (2) Options for the extension of the two-year warranty period: You have extended the warranty period by an additional year by consenting to the use of your personal data for advertising purposes on the product registration site and/or have acquired a parts warranty by purchasing and registering the parts warranty ticket on the registration page.

      • (3) In order to assert a claim on warranty and have the device checked, first contact the specialist retailer or distribution partner from whom you purchased the device. They will coordinate further action under warranty with TechniSat and get the process started.

      • (4) For devices that you have purchased in the TechniShop, please first contact our technical service hotline on +49 3925 9220 1800 in order to make a warranty claim and clarify the defect.

      • (5) If the employee on our Service Hotline recommends that you send the device in to our TechniSat Service Center, please use the free shipping label available from the returns section of our website, www.technishop.de, and send your device

        • to the service address below, stating the purchase date and serial number, and including the purchase receipt,
        • including all accessories (e.g. mains cable, external subwoofer, remote control (but without smart cards and CI modules, for example, which are not part of the scope of delivery,)
        • and including the separately purchased parts warranty ticket,
        • in the original packaging, with a precise description of the fault.

      • (6) If – following consultation with our Service Hotline – you have your device sent to us via your specialist retailer or distribution partner, he/she will send the device to us on your behalf with his/her own service report and with the proof of purchase (copy of the invoice or receipt), free of charge, to the following service department address:

      • (7) Warranty claims are excluded in the case of damage arising as a result of:

        • misuse or improper handling,
        • environmental influences (humidity, heat, overvoltage, dust etc.),
        • failure to adhere to the safety precautions applicable to the device,
        • failure to adhere to the operating manual,
        • use of force (e.g. impact, shock, dropping),
        • interventions that have not been carried out by our authorized service center or by a TechniSat specialist retailer,
        • attempted self-repair,
        • sending in packaging not suitable for transport.

      • (8) In case of a claim on warranty, you will receive a repaired or an as-new identical device. We will cover the costs of returning the device to you.

      • (9) We can repair defects or damage to the device not (or no longer) covered by the scope of the warranty subject to reimbursement of costs. Please contact our Service Hotline for a personal quotation. In this case you are liable for the shipping costs.

  • Products with a three-year or five-year warranty logo

    By registering a product with a three or five-year warranty logo with TechniSat, you receive the right to claim an additional three-year warranty from the date of purchase in addition to the two-year warranty under law. When registering selected TechniSat TV products, you can receive up to 5 years' warranty (3-year warranty plus 2-year parts warranty - except screen, remote control and housing parts). Your legal rights are not affected by this.

    Full TechniSat Digital GmbH warranty terms (for products with a three-year-/five-year warranty logo)

    1. 1. The warranty period is three years from the date of purchase (based on the invoice date) from a specialist retailer, a distribution partner or in the TechniShop.

      On purchasing an appropriately labelled smart TV from a specialist retailer, or in the TechniShop, the warranty period is five years (three-year warranty for the entire device + two-year parts warranty - except screen, remote control and housing parts) following the date of purchase.

      The warranty is valid within the region of the European Union and Switzerland.

    2. 2. During the warranty period, devices that present with defects due to material and manufacturing faults will be repaired or replaced at our discretion. Replaced devices or parts of devices will become our property. The performance of warranty services shall bring about neither the extension of the warranty period, nor the initiation of a new warranty.

      Warranty services include neither compensation for damages nor expenses for data loss occurring within the scope of the repair (e.g. stored lists of channels or hard drive recordings). We request that you perform a data backup prior to sending in a device.

    3. 3. Warranty claims must be asserted immediately after becoming aware of the defect within the warranty period.

    4. The following steps are required if you are to assert a claim under the warranty:

      (1) You have registered your device with us on our product registration page no later than 4 weeks after purchase, in order to receive the TechniSat warranty

      (2) To remedy the damage, you first contacted our technical hotline on +49 3925 9220 1800.

      (3) After consulting our technical hotline, we recommended that you do the following with the device (if required using a valid shipping label)

      • include all accessories (e.g. mains cable, remote control, (but excluding e.g. smartcards and CI modules that do not form part of the scope of delivery)
      • plus a precise description of the fault and
      • in the original packaging

      Please send the shipment postage-paid to the service department address below.

      (4) If you send the device to us via your local TechniSat dealer - after consultation with our service hotline - the TechniSat dealer must complete a separate service report with a proof of purchase (copy of the invoice or receipt) and send it along with the defective device to the service address shown below.

      (5) Warranty claims are excluded in the case of damage arising as a result of:

      (7) We can repair defects or damage to the device not (or no longer) covered by the scope of the warranty for a fee. Please contact our Service Hotline for a personal quotation. In this case you are liable for the shipping costs.

  • Special information on the TechniSat SATMAN products with a twenty-year warranty logo

    The SATMAN series of digital satellite antennas is made of first class aluminium and is 100% rust-free. Hence, with our SATMAN series of digital antennas, you receive a twenty-year warranty against rusting on all metal parts - in addition to the statutory warranty. Your legal rights are not affected by this.

    The warranty claim is subject to the following conditions:

    1. The warranty is twenty years from the date of purchase and applies to all SATMAN models with an invoice date later than June 1 2014, with no need for product registration.
    2. The warranty is valid within the region of the European Union and Switzerland.
    3. The warranty applies to rusting through on all metal parts. (The warranty excludes the LNB, the wall mount and the printing.)
    4. During the warranty period, any metal parts that show rust will be replaced. The performance of warranty services shall bring about neither the extension of the warranty period, nor the initiation of a new warranty.
    5. Warranty claims must be asserted immediately after becoming aware of the defect within the warranty period.

    The following steps are required if you are to assert a claim on the warranty

    1. In the event of a warranty claim, please contact your specialist retailer first, or our customer hotline on +49 3925 9220 1800
    2. Hand over the corroded part to your sales contact/contract partner, with the original invoice or till receipt, stating your address, or send these to one of the service addresses nominated by us.
    3. If the defect is within the scope of our warranty, you will receive new parts in return.

    Warranty claims are excluded in the case of damage as a result of:

    1. interventions or changes to the product that have not been properly carried out.
    2. improper installation and handling or incorrect use of the product.
    3. mechanical damage caused accidentally or through environmental influences such as bad weather or weathering.

    We can repair defects or damage to the device not (or no longer) covered by the scope of the warranty. Please contact your preferred specialist retailer for an individual quotation.

  • Special information on seconds/thirds and remaining stock in the TechniShop (product registration/warranty extension not possible)

    With seconds you receive your statutory warranty rights of twenty-four months from the date of purchase. Product registration to receive a warranty for seconds is not possible.

    With thirds you receive your statutory warranty rights of twelve months from the date of purchase. Product registration to receive a warranty for thirds is not possible.

    With remaining stock you receive your statutory warranty rights of twenty-four months from the date of purchase. Product registration to receive a warranty for remaining stock is not possible.

  • Special information about the guarantee ticket

    With selected TechniSat TV sets, you have the option of extending the warranty period with a warranty ticket.

    If you have purchased an additional parts warranty (parts warranty ticket) from a specialist retailer, a distribution partner or in the TechniShop and have indicated this during the product registration, you will receive an extended parts warranty following the expiration of the three-year device warranty.     We recommend that you redeem the warranty ticket you have acquired when you register your product. If you have subsequently purchased a warranty ticket, you can redeem the warranty ticket within one year of purchase of the device (based on the invoice date) following successful and timely product registration.
