As with the 9/1x8, the TechniRouter 9/2x4 allows you to receive signals from two orbital positions, e.g. ASTRA 19,2° East and Eutelsat Hotbird 13° East. Performance The full satellite bandwidth from two satellites can be fed into an existing cable network without the need to lay cables. Up to four subscribers can be connected to each of the two outputs on each TechniRouter. Subscribers are each allocated a specific subscriber frequency, allowing them to receive all channels trouble-free. Pin code The new PIN code technology makes the allocation of subscriber frequencies even more secure. This means it is impossible for another subscriber to gain unauthorised access to your frequency. (These functions must be supported by special receivers and LCD TVs.) Expansions The TechniRouter 9/1x8 can be easily expanded and combined with 9/1x8 K and 9/2x4 K cascades. It can also be combined with type 9/8 K multi-switch cascades.
