This multi-switch can supply signals from two satellite positions to as many as eight participants. Signals from an additional terrestrial reception installation can be fed into the distribution network via the ninth input.
The distribution installation can easily and quickly be expanded to 16 participants by simply adding a cascade unit 9/8 K to the basic unit. In each case, all participants are able to enjoy the full range of programmes available.

The GigaSwitch 9/8 installation has the capability of processing up to eight separate satellite IF planes, making it the ideal solution for distributing the signals of two satellite positions to as many as 16 participants.
