DVB-T2 HD is the successor to DVB-T and finally enables the transmission of TV programs in HD quality (HDTV). With this device you can receive all free, public service DVB-T2 HD programs available in your region.
Thanks to the integrated WLAN module, this device can also be connected to the home network wirelessly via WLAN without any additional accessories.
ISIO internet technology
Fitted with comprehensive IP functionalities, this unit permits access to interactive services, media libraries, free browsing on the Internet, calling-up "Video-on-demand" services and use of HbbTV applications. (HbbTV is a technology that allows access to channel-related Internet content while watching TV.)
Interactive additional services and additional information about the current channel via internet
Numerous functions and added values make television with TechniSat a great experience, with extensive possibilities. The ISI mode reduces this variety of options and is therefore ideal for children or elderly people, who feel unsure about the many setting options, when using the device. If the mode is activated, nothing can be accidentally changed, with the remote control. At the same time, the program information on the screen issimplified and texts are in extra large font. This is an advantage for people with poor eyesight.
TechniSat CONNECT is a single app that unifies controls of various TechniSat devices. You can choose from a variety of application modules that fit your requirements. CONNECT is available for iOS and Android mobile devices.
"SiehFern INFO" (SFI)
This free electronic programme information service (ePID) allows TechniSat to offer a free current and comprehensive overview of a large number of channels. The programme preview extends up to seven days, can be adapted to suit individual requirements and is available at any time. The SiehFern INFO can also be used easily to activate each timer - requiring just a push of a button on the remote control.
This free updating service from TechniSat keeps the software on your device up to date. As soon as enhancements or improvements to the operating software are available, the set carries out an automatic software update at the appropriate time (adjustable in the menu on the TV). This ensures a high level of future-security and a wider and improved range of functions.
When using the TV for the first time you must create a few important settings (specifically adaptation to local conditions). Clear instructions from the installation wizard provided by TechniSat guide you through easy-to-understand dialogues, enabling you to carry out the required configuration easily and rapidly. Your TV will therefore be ready for use in a short time.
Easily record your favourite films or music on an external storage medium. Use this option to archive data without loss or to play it back using the Timeshift function. In doing so, we recommend using the TechniSat Streamstore24 USB drive. You should check the compatibility of USB media from third-party manufacturers individually with your dealer to be sure of full functionality.
The TV can be operated using both 230V to the normal mains and a 12V power supply system e.g. for a vehicle. Hence it is suitable for mobile use e.g. when camping.
Universal Plug And Play (UPnP)
This TV can be easily integrated into a home network via the integrated Ethernet interface (with optional additional WLAN adapter), enabling various multi-media devices such as a PC, TV, hi-fi, digital cameras and much more to be interconnected by UPnP/DLNA.
Recorded programmes can be edited later via handy cutting and editing tools (e.g. to remove advertising slots).
