Review of 2011
"TechniSat is very pleased with the progressive expansion of its European export business", said Barbara Schuler, head of exports at TechniSat Digital GmbH and managing director of TechniSat Digital France E.U.R.L. The TechniSat brand, which stands for high-quality entertainment electronics, is making more and more waves on the European market. "Despite the continuing economic crisis in Europe, we were able to record a 20% increase in turnover," Barbara Schuler continued. The devices specially developed for various countries and the innovative ISO series products contributed to this success. At the same time, TechniSat products have shown that state of the art innovation does not necessarily demand technical know-how from the customer or require complicated operation. TechniSat products principally stand out for their user friendliness and extreme ease of use. The marketing programme "Tune in to TechniSat, tune out from the daily grind", which the company will shortly launch in the Czech Republic and the Benelux countries, will also latch on to this dynamic.
Successful marketing campaigns
"We expect that the new campaigns will be highly successful since our marketing activities in 2011 were well received," concludes head of exports Barbara Schuler. TechniSat was successful in its marketing activities tailored to the various markets in 2011, providing support to dealers and explaining technologies and trends to customers.

The retail centres in Europe also contributed to this success, and we wish to thank them as well here for the excellent teamwork," said Barbara Schuler. "2012 is a year of sport, with the Olympic Games and the European Football Championships imminent. Dealers are greatly looking forward to these events and have high expectations. Therefore, we intend to give particularly robust support to the excellent work of our European dealers this year, and are planning comprehensive marketing activities accordingly."
Outlook for 2012
"This year we will principally focus on products that are suited to their markets. For the Czech market we will be starting production of the TechniStar SIR – a box certified for SAT Skylink / CS Link – in February 2012. Further new products will shortly be following," commented Barbara Schuler on a new year of exports in 2012. Further focus will be put on dealer training and the expansion of the service range. TechniSat will not only be offering on-site training, but also establishing an online academy to provide support to service and dealers. "We relish the new challenges that 2012 will bring!"
