The TechniSat DigitMod S1 is only 16 cm wide, and can thus be used almost anywhere. Receiving free-to-air (unencrypted) digital programmes via satellite is child?s play with the DigitMod S1. The Autoinstall function as well as a user-friendly menu-driven operating system ensure operating the receiver is both simple and at the same time convenient and user-friendly.
As is the case with all the digital receivers produced by TechniSat, the TechniSat DigitMod S1 features the integrated, free electronic programme guide ?SiehFern INFO?. ?SiehFern INFO? provides comprehensive editorial support, and provides a comprehensive programme preview for up to seven days in advance, as well as sophisticated programme sorting and search/scan mechanisms. The software of the TechniSat DigitMod S1 is automatically updated via satellite, thus ensuring that your receiver remains technically up-to-date at all times.
A further feature that characterises the TechniSat DigitMod S1 is the ISIPRO programme list manager. ISIPRO keeps you informed, at regular intervals, of programmes that have been added or deleted, and, if the user wishes, provides the most up-to-date programme lists. This is a really useful feature, allowing you to stay up-to-date whenever there are changes in the rapidly growing range of digital programmes available via satellite.
In addition, the TechniSat DigitMod S1 is equipped with a 12-Volt connection; due to its very low power requirement, it can easily be run off the cigarette lighter socket of a motor car, caravan or mobile home.
