With the TechniRouter 9/1x8, you can feed two satellite positions (e.g. ASTRA 19° East and Eutelsat Hotbird 13° East) into an existing cable network without laying new cables. Up to eight subscribers can be connected to the output of each TechniRouter. Each subscriber has access to all the channels being received via the antenna system. A unique subscriber frequency ensures that all channels are transmitted smoothly without interference from other subscribers. The new PIN code technology deployed in this system makes the allocation of subscriber frequencies even more secure. The PIN code protects the user of a frequency from unauthorised access by another subscriber. Note that the full, uninterrupted range of functions is only guaranteed if the receiver being used also supports TechniRouter functions. The TechniRouter distribution system is best suited to supplying many subscribers consolidated in large distribution systems. The basic unit can be easily expanded by using one or more cascades. The power required for operating a system of this type is supplied through the basic unit?s switching power supply.
