At the IFA show, TechniSat will be presenting its new full HD eLED IDTV sets of the TechniVision HD series in the following screen sizes: 22, 26, and 32 inches. Each TV is equipped with an integrated HDTV Multituner which permits the reception of TV and radio programmes, including HDTV, via digital satellite, cable, and terrestrial paths - without any need for additional equipment.
Integrated HDTV Multituner
The new full HD eLED IDTV set „TechniVision HD“ comes equipped with an integrated HDTV Multituner as a standard feature, permitting the reception of digital TV and radio programmes via digital satellite, digital cable, and terrestrial paths without any need for an additional receiver. Using state-of-the-art eLED technology, the units feature a slender panel that provides brilliant, razor-sharp images.
Digital video recorder functionality via USB (DVR ready)
You can expand the capabilities of the TechniVision HD to include an integrated digital video recorder functionality (DVRready) by using an external USB memory device. A USB stick or hard drive can be easily connected, using the USB 2.0 interface provided. This interface allows you to record and play digital TV and radio programmes easily and conveniently. In addition, the TechniVision HD supports time-shift television. Broadcasts in progress can be frozen at any point and can then be viewed again from that position at a later point in time – also in HD quality, of course.
A wide range of connections that leaves nothing to be desired
All televisions of the TechniVision HD series come equipped with a multitude of connection options, arranged logically and accessibly on the side of and below the screen. The connections and interfaces allow you to connect and operate various devices such as Blu-ray players, external memory media, video cameras, game consoles, sound systems, headphones, and many other items of equipment. The CI+ interface of the TechniVision HD can be used to gain access to Pay-TV.
Multitude of applications
The new TechniVision HD Series symbolizes a multitude of applications and uses. The compact dimensions particularly of the 22 and 26 inch units make the TechniVision HD ideal for use as a second or third digital TV set at home. In addition, its size, design and razor-sharp image also make the TechniVision HD ideal for use as a PC monitor, for instance, to view and edit family or holiday photographs and videos on the high-resolution display. The HDMI as well as the VGA connections can be used when the TechniVision is “turned” into a monitor.
Intuitive remote control concept
To keep the operation of the TechniVision HD Series as simple and convenient as possible, TechniSat has developed a special remote control operating concept. The handy, easily manageable TechniVision HD remote control features easily visible and recognizable keys, thereby providing quick and convenient access to all functions.
TechniSat added value services
The new TechniVision HD comes equipped with the tried and proven TechniSat added value services to ensure simple, convenient operation. For instance, AutoInstall guides the viewer through the most important settings for ?rst use, step by step. The new optimised user interface makes navigation to programme data sent by transmitters as well as programming of timer events simpler than ever before.
Maximum child protection
The new TechniFamily function provides optimum child protection which allows you to set up password-protected user pro?les for children. For each pro?le, custom access options and restrictions can be de?ned, e.g. for the selected programme, available multimedia and network functions, or daily television viewing times, and a maximum duration of use can be determined. Family arrangements can thus be mapped ?exibly and in detail via device settings.
