With its new „TechniLine“ series, TechniSat has expanded and continued its successful LCD TV concept featuring an integrated multi-tuner for reception of all transmission paths (DVB-S2, DVB-C, DVB-T). The new TechniLine 32 HD complements the TechniSat portfolio of high-quality IDTVs made in Germany. This model features a new compact design, and provides unbeatable value for money.  
Integrated HDTV multituner
The new 32 inch Full HD IDTV TechniLine 32 HD comes equipped with an integrated HDTV multituner as a standard feature, enabling it to receive digital TV and radio programmes via satellite, cable and terrestrial broadcasts (DVB-T), directly and without any need for additional equipment. In addition, reception of analogue programmes is possible via antenna and cable. The two Common Interface (CI) slots ensure the TechniLine 32 HD is optimally equipped for the reception of Pay-TV broadcasts.
New design
The new design of the TechniLine 32 HD is impressive. With this new series, TechniSat has committed to a totally new design concept, allowing engineers to achieve more compact dimensions and a lighter weight, without in any way compromising on technical features. The new series can be recognised by an illuminated LED ring located below the screen.
Exceptional value for money
In spite of the opulent array of technical features, the new TechniSat model also impresses with a very good value for money ratio in its product class. The new TechniLine 32 HD is available as of October 2009 from specialist retailers at a RRP of only 1.199,99 €.  
Maximum digital technology
The TechniLine 32 HD provides impressive features, making it one of the most versatile products in its class. A whole multitude of digital media formats can be reproduced from USB sticks or external hard drives connected to the device. This includes not only digital images and music, but also a whole range of commonly used video formats, such as files in MPEG2 format or VOB videos, such as are used on DVDs. Even secure TS files from TechniSat hard drive receivers (MPEG2 and MPEG4) can be viewed on the TechniLine 32 HD when played via a USB stick – this is a real multimedia centre with a range of functions not often found even in products in much higher price ranges.
Open for all possibilities – also ideal when used as a monitor
The wide range of connections provided with the TechniLine 32 HD makes it possible to connect a wide range of different equipment. For instance, two HDMI interfaces enable to connect a Bluray player or a PC to the device. This ensures that the TechniLine 32 HD can be used as an oversize monitor, with razor-sharp resolution, and easy on the eyes.
Facinating technology and a clever operating concept
Operating the TechniLine 32 HD is extremely efficient, and extremely simple. The tried and trusted value added services provided by TechniSat ensure intuitive operation, and particularly user-friendly operation. When operating the device for the first time, the TechniSat “AutoInstall“ installation assistant will guide the user through the start-up configuration. In addition, the user can define at what times the automatic software updates (free of charge, naturally) are to be downloaded to the device via the “TechniMatic” added value service. “SiehFern INFO“ is a digital programme guide available to the user, providing previews up to seven days in advance.
Energy savings
In addition to numerous technical features, the new models will also feature particularly impressive energy efficiency functions. For instance, the energy consumption of the TechniLine 32 HD in standby mode is less than 0.6 Watts and in normal operation less than 100 Watts.
5 years guarantee
TechniSat provides a 5-year guarantee on all its IDTVs of the TechniLine and HDTV series (3 years overall guarantee if the product is registered with TechniSat, plus an additional 2 years guarantee on parts, excluding the panel and remote control).
