New hot embossing installation for surface finishing commissioned
TechniSat Teledigital AG in Stassfurt (Sachsen-Anhalt) is the largest production facility of TechniSat. More than 240 employees are at work here producing high-quality TechniSat LCD digital television sets. In Stassfurt, TechniSat employs cutting-edge technology, the automated production line ensures high levels of quality, reliability, competence and service can be maintained. The facility was recently expanded further, with investment in a new hot embossing installation used for surface finishing.
TechniSat Teledigital AG in Stassfurt, close to the city of Magdeburg, was founded in May 1998. In recent years, TechniSat has systematically renewed and modernised the production installation, investing in infrastructure and production lines. A completely new assembly line for LCD television sets was completed in 2005, this is utilised today for the production of the HDTV range of LCD digital television sets. In 2007, the entire chip mounting and assembly line was moved to a new building, in order to improve climatic and hygiene conditions.
State of the art production
The heart of TechniSat Teledigital AG in Stassfurt is the large production hall. Here, employees are deployed along a state-of-the-art production line that combines all partial processes involved that are required for the production and assembly of TechniSat LCD digital television sets. Ergonomically designed workstations involving the use, for example, of vacuum load lifters, provide optimal working conditions for employees on the production line. As is the case with all production processes, attention to detail is paramount. A great deal of involvement and experience is required to shape a large number of individual parts into an elegant TechniSat LCD digital television set.
Expansion in 2009: New hot embossing installation
TechniSat LCD digital television sets provide innovative technology as well as exceptionally user-friendly operation; in addition they are designer items that one is proud to show in one’s home. In order to cater for individual preferences, the HDTV range of LCD digital television sets are available in various models and colour variants, for instance, the models of the HDTV 32 series have an embossed, contoured front, and come in silver, titanium or high-gloss black colour variants. As of June 2009 TechniSat will additionally be supplying the new models of the “HDTV 32 Edition“ series in two modern design variants featuring a wood appearance (Andalusian Palisander and Tuscan Teak).
In order to be able to provide these individualistic and classy front frames for its LCD digital television sets, TechniSat has this year invested significantly in the expansion of its facility, as well as in further optimising production processes. With regard to the production process, a new hot embossing installation used to enhance the finish of the surface of front frames was commissioned and integrated into the production line.
In addition to producing the LCD digital television sets for TechniSat, Stassfurt is also home to the TechniSat Service Centre. For many years, the BVT trade review report has awarded the TechniSat customer service division among the highest possible marks. Each year, TechniSat can be found in the group of leading companies in Germany in this respect.
