Company Structure
TechniSat Digital International group located in Betzdorf/Luxembourg is responsible for international Sales and is part of the TechniSat Group, with headquarters in Daun/Germany. The company was founded in 1987 and has three production sites in Germany, plus Poland and Hungary. TechniSat’s R&D Departments are located in Dresden/Germany and Milton Keynes/UK. TechniSat Group currently employees around 1.500 people throughout Europe, with the majority located in Germany.
The International group consists of TechniSat Digital Sp.z.o.o. located in Oberniki-Slaskie/Poland, TechniSat Digital UK Ltd. in Milton Keynes and TechniSat Digital Kft. Hungary.
Pioneering activities
The Polish Sales Department has already established successful business with some of Poland’s largest Operators. The Polish Marketing Department is responsible for creating the necessary strategies to promote TechniSat’s Corporate Identity, but tailored to the local market needs. This has covered customer campaigns, plus the website and marketing collateral in their language.
With the Sales and Marketing Departments located on the factory site, a high level of customer support and service is guaranteed.
TechniSat Digital Sp.z.o.o’s capabilities have strengthened the TechniSat International group and from this experience, the decision has been taken to start the corresponding functions at TechniSat Digital’s affiliates in the United Kingdom and Hungary.
TechniSat Digital Kft.
TechniSat Hungary Kft. is currently located in Budapest but will move to Abasár when the production site is completed at the end of the year. Production of mountings and satellite dishes will then start. TechniSat Digital’s decision to establish a new production facility and sales in Abasár is based on the significant progress of digital terrestrial TV in Hungary. A new Sales Manager, working in Hungary for the international Sales Team, started at the beginning of November.
TechniSat Digital UK Ltd.
TechniSat Digital UK is located in Milton Keynes and consists of a group of dedicated product development engineers with extensive software and hardware expertise. This is now being complemented by the appointment of a new Sales Manager, who started at the end of October and a Marketing Manager in order to address the UK market. With HD satellite services and extensive digital terrestrial penetration, the UK offers unique opportunities for future product development and sales.
