Established in 1997, TechniSat Digital S.A. has its international headquarters in Betzdorf/Luxembourg and is responsible for the international sales of Technisat Digital Group which currently employs 1,500 people in production facilities and R&D departments in Germany and throughout Europe.
TechniSat Teledigital AG, located in Staßfurt/Germany produces Technisat’s extensive range of flat screen TVs. Founded in 1998 it continues a long and established tradition occupying a plant that has manufactured televisions for eighty years and saw the development of the first “Super” TV in 1927. Finding a high quality idTV manufacturing facility has been of paramount importance to Hi-Fi Klubben. The Technisat factory in Staßfurt maintains the highest level of quality, employing very experienced personnel and state-of-the-art assembly lines and manufacturing. It represents German quality at its best.
Hi-Fi Klubben, founded in 1980 by Mr. Peter Lyngdorf, with the concept of direct-to-you high quality audio and video products, is part of the AudioNord International group in Denmark. Hi-Fi Klubben is Scandinavia’s largest specialized audio/video retail chain, with more than 70 shops in Denmark, Sweden and Norway.
TechniSat’s Research & Development department in Dresden prides itself on innovative and high class products. Hi-Fi Klubben has worked side-by-side with some of the most experienced TV platform engineers in Europe to develop idTVs for the Scandinavian market.

The Sales, Marketing and Technical departments of TechniSat Digital S.A. have worked closely with Hi-Fi Klubben to establish new versions of the well known idTV. TechniSat Digital has continually demonstrated its ability to respond to the needs of its customers. IdTVs with 32” and 40” screens as well as a 40” version with integrated hard disk drive and Twin HD multi-reception tuner have been developed and are available for the Christmas market. The idTVs with full HD-panel are also equipped with MPEG2/MPEG4 decoding and AAC support for the Norwegian DTT market. With the integrated CONAX card reader and two PCMCIA interfaces for CI modules, the idTV allows reception of both free-to-air services and encrypted services using VIACESS, CONAX, IRDETO and others.
The new idTV line produced by TechinSat for Hi-Fi Klubben carries the NAD brand - associated with high quality CE products.

Hi-Fi Klubben will introduce the new TV’s during November and December 2008 and they will be available in all of the 75 Hi-Fi Klubben stores across Scandinavia.
