In addition to the HDTV DVB-S receiver DigiCorder HD S2X TechniSat will soon offer a counterpart in the field of DVB-C: The TWIN receiver DigiCorder HD K2X with integrated hard disk drive.
The new TechniSat DigiCorder HD K2X is made in Germany and stands out due to its high-class equipment, best picture quality, best performance as well as its ease of use. The HDTV cable- receiver with MPEG2/MPEG4 reception for SDTV (Standard Definition Television)- and HDTV (High-Definition Television) programs is available with a 160 GB or 500 GB hard disk drive, TIMESHIFT function for time-delayed television as well as aTWIN-tuner for watching and recording 2 HD- or 2 SD-programs (or optional: 1 SD- and 1 HD program) at the same time. The integrated CONAX decoding system features 2 smartcard readers for Pay-TV/ Pay-Radio as well as 2 additional Common Interface for using separate CI modules together with appropriate smartcards.
Numerous connections
The DigiCorder HD K2X is shipped with numerous connections, for example the HDMI-output (with HDCP), the Dolby AC3 electrical or optical digital output, a SVHS port as well as 2 SCART ports, which emphasizes the high functionality of the DigiCorder HD K2X.
Addes value services included
The new cable set top box is also provided with the TechniSat value added services: The integrated Electronic Program Guide (EPG), the AutoInstall function, which allows the user an easy installation of the basic settings, the automatic software updating function via cable “TechniMatic” as well as the program list manager ISIPRO. The clear menus also support the high comfort of the user-friendly handling.
Energy savings
The DigiCorder HD K2X has a low energy consumption profile, and features a power consumption lever in standby mode of less than 1 Watt. With the new DigiCorder HD K2X TechniSat once more again will contribute its share to the new age of High Definition Television. The set top box is available now.
