TechniSat Digital GmbH presents the new LCD television set HD-Vision Plus featuring a modern aluminium design at the IFA 2007 in Berlin.
TechniSat is using the occasion of the IFA 2007 show to present the newest member of the HD-Vision family, the HD-Vision Plus.
The new LCD TV simply shines in a high-quality, classy aluminium design, while incorporating all the proven high-end technology of the HD-Vision series. With this step, TechniSat further expands its wide range of model choices, and successfully builds on the existing HD-Vision series.
The integrated multi-tuner of the HD-Vision Plus allows you to receive digital TV and radio programmes via satellite, cable and terrestrial paths, as well as analogue via cable and terrestrial signals, and also including FM radio.
The LCD TV presents itself in a high-quality aluminium design, and is equipped with a 32 inch (81 cm diagonal) screen size. It is available either as the HD-Vision Plus or as the HD-Vision Plus PVR with an integrated 160 GB hard disk.
In addition, the new LCD television set is HDready, providing all the performance benefits associated with the HDready logo, such as enjoying programmes broadcast in high-resolution format using the HDTV receiver. Moreover, the set is equipped with two HDMI interface connections (including HDCP) for digital audio and video signals, as well as two Scart connections for use as analogue inputs and outputs. In addition, the new LCD TV features a CI interface, a SmartCard reader and the integrated CONAX decoding system, so that you are also able to receive Pay-TV and Pay Radio programmes from various providers, e.g. the TechniSat-Radio Bouquet, the RADIOROPA audio book channels and MTV.
Unparalleled ease of operation
The provision of an integrated multi-tuner means you no longer have to clutter up your living room with an additional separate digital receiver in order to enjoy the full programme choice available. That also means you need only one remote control to fully control the operation of your television set! Naturally, TechniSat places great store by providing easy-to-use, relaxed and user-friendly television viewing.
DigiButler-Service ? free of charge
Naturally, the HD-Vision Plus also is equipped with the TechniSat DigiButler-Service, free of charge. The DigiButler service is the term used to describe all the added value services provided by TechniSat. These include the programme information service ?SiehFern INFO?, the programme list manager ISIPRO, the automatic software updating function TechniMatic and the installation assistant AutoInstall.
AutoInstall
AutoInstall is a software programme developed by TechniSat to ensure easy, automatic initial installation of the product, making it child?s play to set up the HD-Vision Plus. This proven, free added value service ensures complicated configurations are truly a thing of the past.
TechniMatic ? automatic software updating service
TechniMatic allows you to update the software automatically, via satellite, cable or terrestrial signal. The TechniMatic software updating function of the HD-Vision Plus allows you to download new functions, thus adding new features to the capability of the set. In addition, the auto update function provided by TechniMatic ensures your operating software is always totally up to date.
ISIPRO keeps you up to date at all times
The ISIPRO programme list manager supplied by TechniSat together with the HD-Vision Plus provides automatic programme list updates whenever there are frequency changes, or when new programmes are broadcast, or old programmes switched off, ensuring TechniSat customers need never worry about bothersome manual updates and reprogramming.
ISIPRO informs the viewer directly on screen when there are any new programmes available, or when programmes have been switched off, or when there are frequency changes. The viewer can then decide for himself whether he wishes to download the new programme list on offer, whether he wants to reject the list, or whether he wants to park it temporarily, and download it at a later time. Individual programme lists compiled by the viewer will not be overwritten, any changes will be individually and automatically added to the list.
?SiehFern INFO? programme information service ? free of charge ? for ever!
The programme information service ?SiehFern INFO?, which is available free of charge, allows you to compile programme contents directly and individually. "SiehFern INFO" is the well-known programme information service provided by TechniSat, featuring editorially enhanced programme information at a high level for more than 70 channels, with previews up to seven days in advance.
Recording function using ?SiehFern INFO?
The HD-Vision Plus PVR, available as an option, features timer programming using the integrated programme information service ?SiehFern INFO?, thus providing the facility to easily record digital TV or radio programmes on the integrated 160 GB hard disk. The timer programming allows you to plan your individual television and radio programmes up to seven days in advance, giving you the opportunity, for instance, to record your favourite programmes during the week, and then to enjoy them in peace over the weekend.
Timeshift
In addition, the HD-Vision Plus PVR is equipped with a timeshift function.
If, for example, you are viewing a television programme, and are interrupted by a telephone call, you can stop the programme simply by pressing the ?Pause? key on the remote control. The programme will now be recorded in the background, and you can resume viewing, from the point at which you stopped the programme, when you have completed the telephone call.
Radio mode
Furthermore you can listen to radio broadcasts using the HD-Vision Plus! Simply use the remote control to switch from TV to radio mode and back again. The HD-Vision Plus provides a radio mode that allows you to listen to radio programmes even when the television screen is switched off.
