Smartcard reader ready for CONAX
The provision of the CONAX system ensures the HD-Vision is able, per Smartcard reader and with immediate effect, to receive the TechniSat Radio Bouquet (15 CONAX-encrypted digital radio channels broadcast via ASTRA 19,2° East), the channels of RADIOROPA Hörbuch (a total of 3 CONAX-encrypted audio book channels via ASTRA 19,2° East), MTV unlimited (a total of 6 CONAX-encrypted MTV pay channels via satellite ASTRA 19,2º East) as well as the Eutelsat Kabelkiosk including arena (in those regions in which it is possible to subscribe to the programmes of the Eutelsat KabelKiosk). This is yet another added value feature provided to its customers by TechniSat ? at a highly attractive cost! The Pay-Radio package TechniSat Radio Bouquet is available for as little as 20,00 Euros per year, and the channels of ?RADIOROPA Hörbuch? are available from 6,00 Euros per month.
Ready for the future, and Made in Germany
TechniSat is the only television provider on the market able to update the entire firmware of the set by means of software updates distributed via satellite, cable and terrestrial signals. For the customer, this means an optimum for any future developments.

Multi-tuner provides satellite, cable and DVB-T reception
All models of the HD-Vision range feature an integrated multi-tuner suitable for all transmission paths of the digital high-quality television system. Thus, digital television can be received via DVB-C (digital cable television), DVB-S (digital satellite reception), DVB-T (digital terrestrial television); in addition, analogue cable television, analogue terrestrial television as well as FM radio can be received without any need for additional decoders! Furthermore, all programmes received can be stored in a single total programme list, regardless of the signal source used. In addition, the HD-Vision comes equipped with a DigitalDirekt function. The integrated multi-tuner ensures the digital source signals (via satellite, cable or terrestrial antenna) are not subjected to any digital/analogue conversion in the HD-Vision on their way to the viewing panel. The result: the best possible picture quality, even with PAL signals.
Connection options which leave nothing to be desired
The HD-Vision provides a comprehensive range of connection options, such as a USB interface, VGA, component, S-Video and FBAS connections, as well as two Scart and even two HDMI connections!
The CI slot ensures the TechniSat LCD television sets are ready for Pay-TV, and for any future developments. For instance, enjoy the German Bundesliga national league football games via arena, using a CryptoWorks CI module (in conjunction with an arena subscription) in 16:9 on your HD-Vision set.
For sound reproduction, you can use the two detachable loudspeakers, as well as the analogue and digital sound output connections. The HD-Vision comes equipped with an AC3 Dolby Digital bit-stream out connection, a sub-woofer as well as a headphone socket that can be controlled via the loudspeaker keys on the remote control unit.
Added value services ? free of charge
The HD-Vision also features a full complement of added value services. It comes equipped with TechniSat?s own programme information service "SiehFern INFO", the programme list manager ISIPRO, the automatic software update function as well as the TechniSat installation assistant "AutoInstall".
Best picture quality and 16:9 format
The HD-Vision complies with all legal, licensing and technical requirements to reproduce television signals in accordance with the HDTV standard (HD-ready). The strictest possible quality controls are applied in the manufacture of the HD-Vision. To ensure the best possible picture quality, only selected panels ? known as best panels ? are used. This means TechniSat can guarantee each and every HD-Vision set will provide a picture that is 100% free of pixel errors. And another special feature of the HD-Vision: it is able to recognise the black letterbox bars of 16:9 format broadcasts, and automatically zooms to full picture size, so there is no longer any need to adjust the picture format manually.
Ease of operation
When you install the TechniSat HD-Vision for the first time, this has been made particularly easy for you by the menu-based installation assistant ? TechniSat provides a wide range of options that can be implemented with the greatest of ease. Using simple, easily understood instructions in your language of choice, the viewer is guided through the installation menu. The installation assistant helps you to set the integrated TV tuners optimally, step by step. The keys on the remote control are set out in logical order, thus enhancing the simple operation of the menu-based system.

The HD-Vision is available in various model options with detachable 2x2-way loudspeaker systems with bass reflex either side-mounted or mounted in the base, and either with or without a contrast pane. The standard set colour is silver, with the following attractive case colours also available: platinum, matt black, high-gloss black as well as high-gloss white.
