The ISIPRO system developed by TechniSat is an update function for programme lists for all TechniSat receivers of the DigiCorder series, and will shortly also be available for the DIGIT series of products. The receivers will automatically receive a new programme list via satellite whenever programme parameters of existing channels are altered, or whenever new TV or radio programmes are added. Other systems on the market will overwrite the customer?s individually composed programme list whereas ISIPRO provides a unique facility: if alterations in the programme parameters are detected, ISIPRO will check to see where the customer has stored each particular programme in memory, and will change the programme parameters at this site, without changing the order of the list of favourite programmes. If new programmes have become available, the customer will be asked for each programme whether he wants to accept the data into memory or not, thus maintaining the individuality of the programme list under all circumstances.
Apart from the proprietary electronic programme guide SiehFern INFO, developed, updated and edited by TechniSat, which provides customers with programme information seven days in advance, as well as the TechniSat installation assistant Autoinstall, ISIPRO is thus yet another system making operation of the receiver, and overall digital enjoyment, significantly easier for TechniSat users.
