TechniSat, the only German manufacturer to have its own production facilities for digital set-top boxes and TV sets located in Germany, with immediate effect is making available its entire range of 100 Hz TV sets with an integrated digital satellite module (DVB-S). The digital satellite module will be launched under the name of TELYTECH. The value for money aspect here is a real sensation. The charge for the TELYTECH DVB-S module comes to only 160,00 Euros more than the price of the regular TV set. Naturally, the TELYTECH DVB-S module provides all the features associated with the TechniSat range of digital receivers. In particular, this includes access to the proprietary TechniSat electronic programme guide SiehFern INFO, which is compiled by a special TechniSat editorial team, and provides the used with programme information for seven days in advance. In addition, the modules are equipped with the TechniSat installation assistant Autoinstall, as well as the facility to perform auto updates via satellite, and the new programming function ISIPRO.
A combined module for DVB-C and DVB-T is to be made available soon.
Naturally, even older TechniSat TV sets can be fitted with the new TELYTECH DVB S module, with the greatest of ease.
The TELYTECH modules are produced in the TechniSat plant TechniSat Teledigital AG in Stassfurt. According to a survey conducted recently by the BVT (Bundesverband für Technik im Einzelhandel ? federal association for technology in the retail trade), several hundred German specialist retailers named TechniSat among the top 3 German television suppliers.
