Environmental conservation is of ever increasing importance nowadays, with many people interested in making the world a little "greener". As a multinational corporation, we at TechniSat are acutely aware of our responsibility to the environment and to society and have made protecting the environment one of the pillars of our corporate philosophy.

This is reflected in how hard we push throughout the development and production processto find environmentally friendly ways to work and produce our energy-efficient devices. One aspect of environmentally friendly production involves eliminating all lead from the production of TechniSat devices and using only solvent-free coatings and water-based dyes.

Another is our work in recent years on steadily optimising our processes to achieve consistent cuts in energy consumption by our devices, culminating in the very positive energy balance we currently boast. Many TechniSat devices require under 0.2 watts in standby operation, making an enormous contribution to preserving our environmental balance.

You can recognise environmentally compatible TechniSat devices by their green Energy Saver logo. This provides a guarantee that the devices were manufactured in an environmentally friendly way and work at especially energythrifty levels – this protects not just the environment, but your wallet as well.
